$300,000 US Dollars Land Project
The greatest need Agape has right now is to be able to purchase their own land. Currently Agape leases the land they are on and therefore can not build any permanent structures. The majority of the buildings at Agape are temporary structures made of scrap metal and wood. Purchasing the land gives them the opportunity to build a permanent home which would provide a much safer living environment for the children and would give them the ability to become completely self-reliant. Owning the land would give Agape the ability to dig their own well to have their own fresh clean water to drink as well as to bottle up and sell to their community. The funds from selling the bottled water could make Agape a self-sustained orphanage within three years. They could also plant a larger garden that would provide fruits and vegetables for the orphanage as well as raise animals.
$45 US Dollars Child Sponsorship Project
This amount will sponsor the needs (food, education, and housing) of 1 child for an entire month.
$20,000 US Dollars Transportation Project
$20,000 will provide a van for multiple uses at the orphanage (I.e. to help transport the children to medical appointments, to pick up supplies and other self-building and self-sustaining activities
$900 Car Wash Machine Project
This amount purchases 1 car wash machine. This makes it possible for the boys who are aging out of the orphanage to make a living as they are getting ready to move on and begin life on their own. This keeps them from returning to the streets and helps them to become contributing citizens in their villages.
